Savory Bacon-Parm Crustless Pie

Sometimes when food cravings strike, all you have to do to satisfy them is get creative. Bacon-Parmesan Crustless Pie is one such creation that will easily become a favorite go-to recipe. It is savory, creamy, cheesy, and incredibly satisfying. The slightest hint of crunch in the bacon provides a fantastic texture contrast that makes the dish so delicious.

This dish is as simple to make as it is delicious. To begin, preheat your oven to 375F and grease a 9-inch pie dish. Then, cook and crumble 8 strips of bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat. When it is done cooking, line the bottom of your greased pie dish with half of the bacon.

Next, in a medium-sized bowl, whisk together 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, and 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese. Place 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese in a separate bowl. In the same skillet you cooked the bacon, cook 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper and 1/2 cup diced mushrooms over medium heat until they all are softened and fragrant.

You will now assemble this easy pie. Start by arranging the cooked vegetables in the bottom of the pie dish, over the bacon. Then, pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and sprinkle the remaining bacon on top. Finally, arrange the cheddar cheese over the top of everything – making sure it is evenly distributed.

Bake your Bacon-Parmesan Crustless Pie for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden-brown and the edges of the pie are starting to pull away from the sides of the dish. Allow your pie to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
