The easy-to-follow recipe creates a golden crust filled with bacon and cheese. Add in a few spices, and it’s a party in your mouth. Your family and friends be impressed!

To prepare this savory bacon cheese pie, start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Gather your ingredients, including a pre-made pie crust, 6 strips of bacon, 4 ounces of cream cheese, ½ cup of shredded gruyere cheese, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt and black pepper.

Start by cooking your bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove the bacon on to a paper towel and leave the grease in the skillet. Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch baking dish and set aside.

Add the cream cheese and shredded gruyere to the reserved bacon grease in the skillet and cook over medium heat until just melted. Make sure to stir to combine the cheeses and bacon grease together.

Whisk the eggs in a medium bowl and add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the cooked bacon and cheese to the bowl and stir. Pour the bacon and cheese mixture into the pre-made pie crust.

Place the savory bacon cheese pie in the preheated oven and bake for 35 minutes or until the eggs are set. Remove the pie from the oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Serving with a side salad makes a perfect meal!
