• 2-3 boneless skinless white fish filets

• 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

• 1 teaspoon chili powder

• ½ teaspoon garlic powder

• ½ teaspoon ground cumin

• Salt and pepper to taste

• 8-10 small flour tortillas

• 2 cups of chile rojo (red chile sauce)

• 1-2 cups lettuce, shredded

• 1 cup diced tomatoes

• 2 avocados, diced

• 2 limes, cut into wedges

• Cilantro for garnish


1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. In a small bowl combine the spice mix of chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin.

3. Rub the spice mix onto the fish filets.

4. Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add the fish to the pan.

5. Cook until the fish is cooked through (about 5-7 minutes).

6. Warm the flour tortillas in the oven while the fish is cooking.

7. Heat the chile rojo in a saucepan on low heat until warm.

8. Remove the warm tortillas from the oven and assemble the tacos.

9. Place the fish into the tortillas and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado.

10. Squeeze the lime wedges over the tacos and garnish with cilantro.
