Smoked salmon is an ideal central ingredient in this bowl. Smoked salmon has a high amount of omega-3 fatty acids, which can reduce the risk of heart disease. It also contains a unique flavor that pairs perfectly with the colorful vegetables and light lemon-dill yogurt dressing.

To get started, gather the ingredients and plan your prep time. You will need your salmon, preferred vegetables, a lemon-dill yogurt dressing, and any additional toppings you would like to add.

Begin by preheating the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut your salmon into one- to two-inch cubes, and place on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle a small amount of olive oil and a lemon juice onto your salmon, and season with desired herbs and spices. If desired, you may also add a sprinkle of brown sugar to the top of your salmon for added sweetness. Place your salmon in the oven and bake for fifteen minutes, or until lightly browned.

While the salmon is baking, choose your desired vegetables to include. Whether you pick tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, or any other vegetable, the important thing is that you cut it into bite-sized pieces. For a balanced bowl, create a colorful mix of vegetables to add texture and flavor.

Now that you have steamed or lightly boiled your vegetables, it’s time to make the lemon-dill yogurt dressing. Start by combining the mayonnaise, plain yogurt, lemon juice, and dill in a medium bowl. Whisk until combined and smooth. Add paprika and pepper to taste.

Once your salmon is finished, it is time to assemble your bowl. Begin by placing the cooked salmon cubes onto the bed of vegetables. Drizzle the yogurt-dill dressing over the salmon and vegetables. Finally, add any desired toppings, such as nuts, spices, or seeds.
